Stars shine in the carpet of the Emmy Fashion, the suits purple, red and blue ruled the red carpet Sunday at the 62nd Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, while Sofia Vergara dazzled with an elegant gown by Carolina Herrera. The Colombian star, who was nominated for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her work in “Modern Family,” ABC, wore a strapless gown with gold embroidery on the front.

January Jones and Christina Hendricks, both of the series “Mad Men” did honor to his characters with colorful and attractive costumes. Jones wore a brilliant electric blue dress with bodice and skirt with uneven hem in A, Versace, and Hendricks a lavender Zac Posen dress with feathers at the sleeves and edges and a deep neckline. The stars of “Glee” also impressed, especially Lea Michele in an Oscar de la Renta navy strapless ruffled skirt.

“I’ve been black and green,” said Michele. “I was ready to go blue, and I love Oscar de la Renta, so when I saw this, it was as if he had read my mind.”
