Isabella Rossellini will be judge in the Berlin Film Festival:

The actress Isabella Rossellini will head the jury at the Berlin International Film Festival in February, announced Monday the organizers of the annual festival.

Isabella Rossellini is “a multifaceted artist and creator of cinema, with a wide experience in European cinema, U.S. and international,” the Berlinale director Dieter Kosslick.

Isabella Rossellini’s films include “Blue Velvet”, “Wild at Heart” and “Fearless.” She made her directorial debut with the short film “Green Porno” during the Berlin Film Festival 2008.

The festival has not announced any other member of the jury that will award the Golden Bear Award and other prizes. This year, the group was headed by filmmaker Werner Herzog.

The 2011 edition of the Berlinale will take place from 10 to 20 February.
