The Belgian Stefaan Engels, better known as ‘Marathonman’ has made the Guinness World Record on Saturday to complete its goal of running 365 marathons in 365 days, the last one in Barcelona, where he began his quest a year ago.

The last and final effort of this particular challenge, sponsored by the company PRONOKAL, consisted of a circuit of 42.195 kilometers set in the Parc Natural de Collserola, Carretera de les Aigues, where Engels, after completing the course received the Certificate of Record Guinness consecutive marathons.
