Texas Department of Transportation:
Two advocacy groups asked a federal court to order the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to suspend the decision to build two toll roads in the north of the city.

“The Edwards Aquifer is the most sensitive natural areas of the state and not having an environmental impact statement short and long term is troubling,” said Bill Barker, consultant to the organization WATER.
“We have no comment because it is a matter in litigation,” said Paco Felici, spokesman for the Texas Attorney General representing TxDOT in the case.
Texas Department of Transportation, earlier this month, the same groups filed a lawsuit that sought to halt construction of roads and which notification was sent to the federal government, which has 60 days to respond.
